Hey guys im new to this whole rotary engines. I have a friend who has a 86 rx-7 just sitting outside his house for 2 years not doing anything decided to get rid of it... any way to make a long story short he gave it to me. The problem is that it will not start, not even crank. I'm thinking its the starter (because he tried starting it will a new battery and it didnt start) but the engine is in terrible condition. Where you pour the oil in its all rusted inside and the dip stick is rusted also. I love the way the car looks and I heard many great things of rx-7s. I want it to work and try to fix it up but money is a major problem i really dont want to pour thousands of dollars in it. Any recommendations anyone. Thanks again for your help
