First question-Have you ever had it running since you purchased it? If not, a compression test should be in order to see if engine gone, or when plugs out listen for the pulsation sounds of the air escaping. If you've had it running, then it could be flooded. A zillion posts on the subject on how to get the gas out, avoid more going in, ATF (my choice), MMO, or just plain oil added to bring up compression so it can start.
Have fun at the prom......You don't need much money to enjoy the evening.

There are dozens of possibilities for "crank but no start".

The most common - it's flooded.
Symtoms:
Engine cranks kinda fast, but with no compression surges in the starter gear noise.
Raw fuel smell at the tailpipe.

RrRrRrRrR - starter gear sound (normal)
rrrrrrrrrrrr - starter gear sound (flooded) (no compression surges)

Try "unflooding" as a search key word.

First: follow the advice up above for unflooding it, As that is the most likely cause.

Second: Give us some more information, perhaps a more detailed description of what it's doing? For example: Did it run when you bought it? When did it stop running? Did you take it for an extremely short drive the last time you drove it? Is it turning over, running for ~4 seconds and then stalling out? Or is it not turning over at all, it just cranks?

Third: Pick up a new set of spark plugs and wires. I know cash is tight, but if you're following the unflooding techique properly, you'll need em anyway. Make sure you get NGKs, two leading and two trailing plugs, you can get them from any parts store like Advance and Autozone. Pick up some new wires, unless you know how new the old ones are.

I definatly think more info would be helpful

I found out what the problem is. My lead coil is out, and i was told by action auto parts that it would cost $ 372 dollars to get a new one. If you have viewed my first post you know I don't have any money. So if you know of a way to help me please let me know.

Thank you,
Brandon

GO get one from A Salvage yard. I'm sorry to hear that it's out, they're usually robust parts. All FC's used the same igniters and coil, both leading and trailing. IF you're lucky you can pick up the part for less than $20

Good luck at the Prom, IF you have sex wear a condom.
