i have an 89 GTU .... custume intake but other than that all stock. the car starts fine...has new battery and has no charging system... but recently i doenst want to run... 126,000 miles. the car starts but if you try to run it kicks back and pulls and doenst want to accelerate... the engine revs up .....another small problem is it has a wierd idle... when the car is on the RPMS move around and the car wants to die and fall flat on its face. if anyone ahs had this kind of problem you should help me out.

 

What do you mean no charging system? No Alternator?

bad tps? have you done a compression test? leaky injectors?

 

May be stupid but are ur fuel lines clogged I had an 88 gtu and for a few weeks it tripped over its self when I hit the gas and went over 3k and had jumpy idle almost dying, then just died one day put more gas in it and didn't start I thought it was the fuel pump. Shop said worked fine had to be electrical or somethin injectors wasn't spraying car sat for 3 months trying everything till I decided to try a diff fuel line cuz I found out no fuel came out of mine and ran fine after that may not be wats wrong but I'd check the fuel spraying out of ur lines just for the hell of it

 

well mine died on me one day and i thought it was the battery beacuse i did a load test and failed and so i replaced it and now it wont run.... and yes it has a charging system i ment to say new.
