need fuel pressure regulator help

Exclamation need fuel pressure regulator help

ok I just got a aftermarket adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Prob is Im not sure how many lbs. should I be running!?!?!?!?!?!?!Whta is the average by the way?????!!!! My car is a 88 rx7 turbo2 with a street port.... Can someone help me!

Do you have fuel control? Wide band? What were your reasons for adding the FPR?

if you mean adjustable by twisting the nut located on top well then yes

No, what I mean is this:

If you just added an adjustable FPR and no other modifications (IE SAFC, Standalone, whatever).. OR... unless you have access to a wideband 02 sensor, you dont really know what you are doing by adding an aftermarket FPR. All of them will react differently. There is really no "Set" static pressure, you would have to do that by monitoring base AFRs OR compensating with fuel control.

Not entirely correct. The logical thing to do would be to set it to the stock static pressure of 36-37psi.

Still not sure why this is even needed though...
