need a favor from people with stock fans.

see if you can picture this...

I need a measurement.

front the front most part of the stock fan. to the front of the big pulley (the A/C P/S one)

basicly I need to know how much the fan sticks out forwards.

I wana see if it'll clear my current rad setup. my e-fan is comming off if it will.

~80mm from the Face of the crank pulley to the leading edge of the fan clutch. (86 SE)

With you're relocated radiator you'll need to make a custom shroud if you want to use the stock fan. It'll still sit too far from the radiator to work without one.

ya I know.. I'll work on that next. the bottom is only 1" or so away. top will be a few inchs though. I'm thinking without a shroud it'll still be better then now. untill I can make one.

next week my front bumper is getting dremaled too. the bottom strip below the main hole and the stock grill. so it'll just be the lip on the bottom. should open the hole around 30% + I wana do it this weekend but I'll have to wait till next week since I need to get a metal brace made to go along the bottom to beef up the lip.

and hopefully my reverse scoop will come some day...

PS. do you like my title?

I figured you'd like it the most LOL

is the grill actually a molded part of the bumper that has to be cut off like that, or is there another way to take it off?

Yes it must be cut out. Look at Scott's pic and you can see the cuts.

Are you going to close in the top?

I see you've found a use for the stock TB-to-IC elbow.

I'm probably gona do something with the top. the fan is a few inchs above the rad so it's gona be kinda weird to do. my reverse hood scoop finaly came in today. so hopefully that'll be painted and put in next week. so I was gona take a look at that first and maybe do some ducting up to that included in the top piece.

nope... that's the stock turbo to IC elbow.. and it's just rotated 90^ and going forwards instead
