Need Fast Answer (1 Hour) 1000cc Injectors In Stock Motor Yes Or No
well you know the question, will 1000cc injectors be safe in a stock N/A.
got a good deal that goes away in an hour for 4 1000cc injectors (i need new ones) for 356$ and thats after shipping? what i need to know is is it safe or not to put them in my STOCK 88 gxl N/A???

You'd need at least a fuel computer or standalone. I'm not exactly sure what else would be necessary. You should just buy them and keep them around for when you can afford/understand how to put them in.
cant afford to buy to hold on to i understand how to put them in but i dont know if the engine could handle 1000cc injectors with out blowing up. if i need a standalone or another computer then tell me what i would need (so i can see if i can get a hold of one).
If you don't understand why you can't double the amount of fuel being injected into your engine, you really shouldn't be touching it...
Why do you even think you need new ones?

at your advice i did not get the 1000cc injectors, that may be something i go for latter but for now, i have another question, what about the 550's, still bad, not so bad, go for it??? what say you guys.
also im new to rotaries so if i say something that some what off, just say so, i learn quick, being a dick will only make me ignore you guys. plus unlike most ppl i dont get offended when im wrong about something, if im wrong, like i said, just tell me.
thanks again guys, most of you guys are really cool and have been a lot of help.

a stock or built n/a motor will never need injectors bigger than what they already came with from factory. a radical n/a build would probably need slightly bigger but 1000cc is just overkill and a waste of money
It'll just make you run richer because your ecu thinks it's opening a pinhole when it's really loosing a garden hose. The RX-7s run rich already to cool things off a little and lower the risk of pre-ignition. Making them run richer is just going to sap even more power away. Furthermore, larger injectors need higher fuel pressure or they don't atomize the fuel correctly and you'll foul the engine up in no time.
+1 Keep your injectors as they are, get an intake and exhaust, some good brakes, and a nice suspension. Then when your motor finally goes streetport and go turbo. THEN you can start messing around with bigger injectors.
okay thanks guys, just so you guys know, as it seems most if not all seem to think i want the 550s for power gain, the only reason i asked about the 550s is cuz they're easier to find cheap decent ones, then the 460s. i know this makes me cheap but im a poor college kid what can you expect.
also i've noticed fiscal similarities between the FCs and drugs, which ever you choose your money always seems to vanish.

what's wrong with your injectors? you can get them cleaned for $60 or less.
sure you can get the 550s cheaper than 460s, but would you rather pay a one time fee for the injectors or pay out the *** every time you fill up at the gas station. it's a simple decision.

thats kind of whats happening on my car anyways. The car has no power but will run, it does not idle but holding down the gas a bit will keep it running, the car will start, but floods ultra easy (and i do mean ultra easy). Also im burning through fuel really quick my highway rage on a 16.9 gallon tank is 133 miles (7.86 MPG even hummers have better gas mileage) Originally, we knew the PD was bad, my uncle, a local guy and i replaced it with a banjo bolt, (no "you shouldnt have done that!" please ive made my bed let me lie in it) that did not fix my problem. i replaced my fuel lines, (none of them were leaking) that didnt fix my problem. ran ATF through the motor didnt fix my problem (again i made my bed no comments please). the last thing to look at in the fuel system is fuel filter and fuel injectors, so im going to replace them. (see link.) if that still doesnt fix my problem im going to order a front clip and replace the motor.
on a side note do you guys know anything good bad or indifferent about the above injectors?
