Question Need Exhaust Set-up for 87 N/A

Hi i was wonder what would be the best exhaust setup for my 87 n/a?
I've heard that going with a single muffler then a dual exhaust is better, is that true?
Could the guru's or anyone tell me a good reliable performance setup for an exhaust system on my 87 n/a.
And could someone please explain the benifits from going with a single exhaust and explain then benifits of using a dual setup?
I need to replace my stock exhaust from the header back so i'm looking for a setup that will sounds good and has lots of *****.
I heard to just go with the full RB header back setup does anyone have anything good to say about there own RB setup? or anyother ones?
Thanks NewbieMan

Racing Beat's Road Race Exhaust system is what you want.

Single

Pros: Its lighter and simpler. Lighter by about 0.5% of the total weight of your car btw.

Cons: It looks wierd because the car has the exhaust cutout on the other side. Its loud. Most singles have stupid water melon launcher mufflers. Its loud. Its loud. Did I mention its loud?

Dual

Pros: It looks balanced. It has far superior sound quality compared to the same quality single. There are much nicer mufflers with tips that aren't 5" like every other rice box civic on the road.

Cons: Its 0.5% total heavier. It is more complex(about 6 more bolts/nuts than a single)

RB Road Race "true duals" are a complete bolt in affair. You just order the components and then slap them together on the car.

They do not pass emmisions.
