Need electrical assessment (PICS)
I need a massive favor. There are some electrical issues with my 90 vert project. If someone would be so kind as to look these pics over and provide some direction with how to tackle them, that would be so cool.
The state of the car is as I received it. I've been working 12 hour days for weeks now, no time to tinker with her. I haven't even purchased a battery yet. Clearly there are some issues that should be dealt with first.
1.) There is a green wire leading off one of my battery terminals that goes to a 30A fuse, and then trails off to some relay type thing. Everything was disconnected by previous owner(for the coming engine swap), and I don't know what anything is called, or was placed originally yet. I'm just wondering if that fuse thing is normal. Also which of these battery terminals is negative/positive?
2.) Second issue are these, well... mangled/burnt wires on these two modules. Can you identify what these are by the numbers on the backs or the color of the plastic? You think these got fried too? Gonna be hard to tell how far down the harness the damage is. Any tips? The mess you see here on the pic is not my doing.
3.) I found that these three unknown bundles that connect together showed a suspect dark spot. When bending some of them to get a better view, I could actually see some shiny wire showing.
MISC.) These are few other misc other issues that may or may not be related. I'm just trying to be as thorough as I can be for anyone willing to help me out.
I recently found a burnt light switch on the cluster housing and the harness it attached to. I plan to pull those two things from my parts car. A red wire from under the driver side step panel is attached to nothing, and a blue wire coming from the center dash is also attached to nothing. There is also some misc wiring ghetto rigging in the back as well.
One more thing. In the fuse box under the hood I found the bottom 30A and the 60A fuse flipped into the wrong spots. ??? Thanks for any help guys. I know this is alot. I KNOW.

First off, wow. Looks like a rat got into your ****. HAHA. But, the positive cable is the one with the 2 wires going to the terminal. (the one with the green wire too)
The green wire is some type of power wire for an accessory. Most likely an aftermarket radio or other 12v source. I would just take it off the power wire terminal and not worry about it. The mangled wires going to the relays I would re-wire and solder any broken or exposed wires. DO NOT drive it like that. You are asking for shorts. Not sure what 3-suspect-3wires is for sure. trace it and see where it goes. It looks stock. Misc red wire definitely looks like the main power source for an audio amp. Remove it if you are not going to have an amp hooked up. The ghetto wiring looks like it is speaker wire. Where does it go? The burnt headlight switch is normal. Replace it. As far as the relays I cannot tell from the numbers alone. You can try to identify them by downloading the Factory Service Manual (FSM) from this site: http://www.rotaryheads.com/PDF/2nd_gen/
Oh, and as far as the fuses being in the wrong spots make sure they are indeed in the wrong spot and you didnt have the fusible link block cap on the wrong way.

#1. Black/Yellow is the battery ground.
#2. Modules. If one module has two Red wires, one Red/Green and a White/Blue wire then it is the Headlight Relay. Cannot determine from the pick what the wire colors in the other module are.
