I'm looking at Summit Racing site for e-fans. How much cfm capcity should I go for? 1250cfm? 1500cfm?

ive seen better results with a junkyard fan over aftermarket fans. the two id recomend would be either the pontiac fiero V6 fan or the early 90s V6 taurus fan. both have shrouds so they actualy pull air through the radiator instead of just moving it around. the taurus fan is a 2 speed and the shroud fits perfectly over the FCs radiator. my .02

I second Scott 89t2... I've got the same exact fan, and man it's a workhorse, never had any problems, and pulls plenty of Air.

I got my efan out of a '91 ford escort GT.

It's a 3 speed fan with a shroud that fits the TII rad almost PERFECTLY.

but really, don't bother unless you need the room or your stock fan died. The clutch fan moves more air than anything else can...

Early '90's V6 Taurus fan? Are you serious? Sweeeeeeeet..... A friend of mine is giving me his '90 V6 Taurus for practically nothing because it's falling apart, but the motor's still good, so I figured I'd drop it in my '90 Probe GL for a cheap project. I hope the e-fan is still good, 'cause yoink!

If the Taurus shroud fits perfectly over the stock FC radiator, it should still fit perfectly over a Fluidyne for an FC, right?

Has anyone tried using a Spal e-fan? One of my friends is putting one on his 302 stang and from what he says it's a better performer than the Black Magics and the hardware included is better.
