I'm not quite sure whether I should leave my computer stock or buy a stand alone so I can take full advantage of the streetport. Does it make power above the 7600 rpm fuel cut?

Good luck to you....I think Bambam7 is the only one who went to the dyno, and his ignition was all fucked up that day so it really doesn't count...

That was Mazdaspeed7 who did the dyno run, I am still waiting to get mine tuned (my S-AFC), I've got a wideband coming soon.
You really should get a standalone tuned on a dyno, otherwise you won't experiance any gains... there isn't just a **** you car turn that say "More power than stock"

Opps my bad, I get you two confused, maybe it's the "7" at the end of your names, that and you both have badass N/A's

what about dyno tuning w/ the S-AFC? I would think that'd be worth something

From what I've read you can tune a stand alone to make quite a bit more power even on an stock port engine, so you need it to take "full advantage" of even stock ports. I say go for it, stand alone will give you sooo many more options to making power (put a turbo on, no prob.- just tune it; bridgeport-tune it; race gas-tune it)- but everybody has different budgets/priorities!

Dont bother with a stand alone, you woul dbe happier with a burned chip, like the MD race one, or Jet(havent heard anything, good or bad, about them).
