the stock exhaust on an n/a is 2 1/4, why would you want to downgrade? and what kind of exhaust you looking for? Big mufflers and big tips or a more stock looking system?

actually the exhaust tubing on my car is 1 3/4 behind the cats?

to answer your question about what I am looking for: something close to the stock type system

Dynomax has a nice flow through system that looks stock, RP at www.rx7.com is the same as the dynomax but more expensive. Borla is nice too, search on the 2nd gen forum and youl find vids and info. Racing beat at www.racingbeat.com has a nice system but a little steep. but it is the best quality system available to rotaries. and it will outlive all of the others!

good luck!
