need bumper to fit 3 row FMIC, any suggestions?

I just installed my GReddy 3 row FMIC and of course the S4 bumper didnt fit. I cut it out a bit, and it ACTUALLY doesnt look to bad, and put it on the car.

I was curious to know if there was any kind of aftermarket bumper that would fit this? Jason said that Bomex might......but i dont know.

Anyone on here have any suggestions as to a fair priced bumper with good fitment?

i took some of both the IC mounted with no bumper and with bumper. I have to wait to kill this roll of film to get it developed and scanned though.
I will try to describe as best i can though....

First, , picture some key points. The ruber molding strip in the middle of the bumper. The turn signals. The big vent, and the little vents on the side (the ones out by the ends of the bumper)

Basically whta i did was cut from the bottem of that rubber strip, across to where the ends of the big vent would intersect to, come down and make a rounded curve out toward the turn signls, ,then down to the top of the side vents and then ALL they way across the bottem to the other side and repeated that.

its kind like fat inverted T if you can imgine that. I had to make it that wide to accomidate the piping as well as the tanks. The 3 row is FACKING HUGE!

To answer your real question. I believe I've heard that all bumpers, even most of the fiberglass ones need trimmed. So pretty much it's a question of if you want an aftermarket bumper or not. Get out your grinder.

Look at the Mariah mode 5 front bumper. I've heard that it has ample room for an IC.

I have the same intercooler and it seems that no matter what front bumper cover you get your going to have to do some cutting. Not a big deal in my eyes. I will be using a stock S5 bumper cover cut out a little for some more air flow and a Feed lower chin spoiler, its going to look pretty bad ***, ill post pics as soon as its done.

sounds pretty good.

-Rotorhad: I was planning on eventually getting the entire mode6 kit, minus the rice wing I think it might work. I will probably email some companies tonight and see what they think.

As far as my setup, right now its going to have a T04E running 12-15psi. After i get some other necessary parts and porting I will be using a T04R Rice Racing spec. Planning on running 20psi normally, but all my supporting mods will allow as much as 28psi on good gas!

Most bumpers are gonna need cutting so just use the stock bumper. Its a hell of alot cheaper than cutting a 400 and up dollar bumper (which i couldnt do.)

i bet that big IC looks mean in the nose of your car. thats the core i want for mine. i know its not going to fit so im prepared to do some cutting to make it fit. hurry up and get those pics developed so we can all stare and drool. just blow the roll of film taking pics of your car. it never hurts to have more pics of your car.
