how do u eliminate the mass air flow sensor with out buying a new computer

i dont think you can....the factory computer needs that to work properly.....why do u need to remove it?

when he was working on his car he had to take it off then put it back on so when start the car it turns on then shuts off

It's not plugged in right (or you broke it). You can't get rid of it without gong to a aftermarket ECU or by converting it to a MAF (still in the process of working out the bugs on the switch).

Cliff notes: Plug it in.

or you could spen $1000 and get a halteck . if its turning and shutting off make sure that the 2 giant hoses on the intake tube are plugged in or it will do that. make sure that the plug for the MAS is plugged in.
