Need Advise
Heres my problem. I have a 1987 N/A FC w/ about 155,000+ miles on the odometer. I've been getting beep codes minutes after startup. With the addition of white smoke when revved higher. I was assuming that it was either normal on rotarys or it has too little oil or a gasket that has gone to crap some where. Those are my main two problems. I'm thinking it may be time for a rebuild
. I still need to do a tune-up on it, but would that have something to do with the beeping & white smoke. I looked at the FAQ, which was very informative. Only thing is that the 18-sec limit that it said for the first set of beeps, lasted for over a minute. Could it be because the idle was sitting at 2K & it continued because it sat there?
