Need advice on a new project

Okay. So I have an 88 vert (manual) and its awesome, I love it. Some of you know this car, nothing too amazing but from it was when I got it the car came a long way. I love love love it.

I just got a 86 coupe. Its an auto, 4 lug, and no engine. I want to put everything I have in the vert into the coupe. This means my RB springs and bars. my RB header (which btw shortened my exhaust length so I think its for a coupe anyways.) my transmission and engine. My hub assembly (the coupe has the boring brakes haha.) I think I have to switch the wiring harness because of the difference in the tranny, but I'm not sure. with my lift and cherry picker I'm pretty sure I can get the swap done in a day (the coupe already has the motor and tranny out).

Basically what I'm asking, is can everything swap over? I'm new to coupes.

Not in one day,but it is do-able.
remember that you need to put the pedals in for the manual conversion.and the Clutch etc..so that is gonna soak up some time.
you will need the manual Driveshaft to go IN the Coupe.
4 lug to 5 lug..ya OK,but it will take ya a bit,as the Bushings on the rear may Bust and you have to get new rubber toe eleminators.(Dtss)
OH,do I hear a Brake swap?/5 bolt Brakes,4 pot caliipers..Look into that too.
But that all is do-able..
I wish ya luck..you are doing what I have done in 3 years!.(HEY!.I am getting older...!..lol).

well for the brakes and such, I'm thinking im gunna swap the entire thing over. like struts, springs, hubs, everything. just unbolt them and swap them over.

I have dtss eliminators waiting to go in so thats great I know when to put them in.

I figured the peddles, clutch, the master and slave cylinders as well.

What I ment for 1 day was the "main" stuff. Engine, tranny, and whatever. Getting everything tied back in will probobly be the week after, few hours after work every night.

What really sucks is i'll be doing this all outside in my driveway uuuuuuugh...

Um... the top has ripped on the corners... thats literally all thats wrong with it. Oh, the wipers work on 1 speed. And some mild body damage...

The coupe... everything is working except the sunroof. Its just kinda ugly because I haven't detailed it yet.

I'd just keep the vert as it is. Fixing the wiper switch can be done usually within an hour (just pull the relay covers off and clean the build-up off the contacts and 99% of the time it'll work). Yes, you can swap everything into the coupe but you'll have a less than ideal tranny mount setup unless you can locate mounts to weld into the coupe. More work than it's worth, and verts are cool in their own regard. Unless you're swappin something into the vert that's going to worthwhile (v8/etc), leave it be!
