Need advice on color choice

Hey guys need some advice on a color scheme for my car. It's in the paint shop but I am undecided on a couple things.

It's a 88 Tii. FC2K front. GP sports sides and rear. S5 trim. Stock spoiler. Going to paint the FC2K headlight housings and lower lip black. Got the idea from someone here.

Should mouldings and spoiler be black also? Mirrors?

Car will be red.

Thanks

I've seen a few FC2000 kits painted red. You definitely have the right idea going black with the light buckets and lip... Don't go black on moldings, spoiler, and mirrors. Get those painted red. It will look so much better this way.

I have an FC2000 bumper and I plan to do the same with my car, except I plan to go with white.

That's what I was originally going to do just 2 tone the front, but the painter actually came up with the idea to paint the spoiler and moldings black.

Irreguardless, the sunroof will look gloss black, but it's really carbon fiber.

Or should that be red too???????????????

I would go all red... other than lip, light buckets, and maybe the moldings. Don't go too much two-tone, or else it will just be sort of "ricey".

Look at the white RE-Amemiya time attack car. That car looks GREAT... And it only has the light buckets black. The rear diffuser, canards, and mirrors are carbon fiber.

White with black trim/wing and powdercoated Kawasaki green rims! Well, that's what I wish I had. My car came red.

What color do you like? Paint it that color.

He has already decided on the car being painted red. He's wanting some input on a "color scheme".

Ahghhggggh???

What should I do???

I think I will keep the sunroof cf and get another sunroof panel painted red, see which one i like better.

Another idea I had was to go all red and get black vinyl on the moldings and wing. If I dont like it, it just peels right off??

Your car is S5... So, why would you want black moldings?

Which mirrors do you have? Why not get the CF sunroof painted red?...

Really... This is all your decision.

It's a 88 Tii with s5 moldings to match the gp sport bumper. I always thought all stock FC had the black moldings though and I like that look.

Yes it is up to me, I guess I can go on paint and try to paint shop in my bumper and black moldings before wasting some $$$.

don't paint the moldings black. it would look bad or "ricey" with the F2k front. I'd just do the light buckets and lip and leave the sunroof CF. mirrors I could go either way on but red would go better I would think.

play xbox? forza 4 has a vinyl editor like ms paint. try it in that and see what ya think. if you don't have that then idk. just please dfinitely no black moldings on an s5 car with F2K. mainly because F2k bumper doesn't have molding on it, unless you were planning to do a black strip on it anyway. still, no. my .02
