Need Advice to buy 91 TII

Hi, i'm a complete noob so i am posting here in hope that someone can help me...

I have spoted a red TII (91) , it has 90k km.

The car looks good, the paint is sort of faded, but nothing a good polish can solve.
The motor looks good, with no visible leaks and all.

I haven't test driven the car yet, but there are already a couple of things that concearn me.

The motor fired up god, the accellerated warm up process is working and all. But then the "problems" start.
The car was idling @ 2000RPM, but if i depressed the clutch it rised to about 2700RPM. Then as it was warming up the idle lowered to about 700/800 RPM. Is this normal?? i mean the "clutch thing"? The car has a lot of "slope" on the clutch, it's like you have to press it 1/4 down for it to start to work.

Another thing is that in my opinion the acelerator pedal is sort of "sticky", and hasn't got much "movement". I can't explain this realy well, but it is like it only moves 1/2 of the other pedals.

Sorry for mi REALY BAD english. Most of it you probably didin't understant...

are the situations reported "normal"? if not what is the problem and is there any metod to test it?? remenber thar i should go for a test drive on the car in a week or so, but if the car is bad, i don't want to go 120km just to try it.

Just thought I'd respond about the increase in rpm's when clutch pushed in. Yes, the engine speed will increase when the clutch depressed as the trans gears are not turning and not trying to move the "cold" fluid. If heavy fluid in trans it will be worse when cold. Conversely, if you start the car with the clutch in, and car in neitral, when you let clutch out the engine will slow slightly as the trans gears are trying to turn in the fluid.

every sounds good. The idle being high until it warms up is perfect. 700-800 rpm is perfect. The gas pedals in rx7's are touchy and the clutch does take some push to actually do anything. Sounds like a great find to me. Low KM's too, if the price is right pick it up!
