Question Need advice from ANYONE!

Hello,
I'm moving to the Phoneix area in a few months and am looking for a second generation rx7. Any advice on what to look for when shopping for one? Any particular year to avoid? WHat is considered high milege and low milege for the rotary eninge? (I know they last a long time). Thanks for your time

Look for the normal stuff you do with ANY normal car.
All years are ok but try to look for an 87 or 88 model if possible. Reasoning behind this advice is that the S4(86-88) models are lighter and generaly don't have that many corners cut or are not "over engineerd" problems like mouse belts and electrical MOP which tends to fail and cause major problems happen often to the S5(89-92) The S5 cars are also heavier(albeit they have a BIT more power) and overall a lighter package is better.

Low mileage would be under 100k miles and high mileage would be oveer 150k IMO.

Please read the FAQ at the top of this section, it covers what to look for, how long they last, etc.
