need advice
I'm looking at a 10th A.E 7 and I just wanted to know about how much they ususally go for? the one that I am looking at has some rust on the a pillar due to the windshield being installed improperly at some point, older leather kinda creased, looks it's age, passenger power windo switch and lock not working, power antenna not working, intermitant wipers not working(800 to repalce!!!!), and has been in an accident and repaired, 115,000 kms
I am trying to weigh my options because he is asking 6500 cdn? I think is to high but does 4500-5000cdn sound accurate?(Iknow the unltimate decision is mine but some input would be nice)

first....go and find out how much it will cost to fix everything that is wrong...I mean EVERYTHING even the smallest dent, then take it to the mechanic do a compression check, check the brakes, oil leaks and make sure you tell the mech that you need a thurough inspection and a quote to fix.....then take that quote and subtract it from his asking price.....then see what he says, if he says no then ask him to fix everything and THEN you'll pay his asking price. have cash ready and be prepared to walk away if he doesn't agree...he'll call you back, unless he finds some poor sap to buy it like that.

I don't know how bad calgary salts the roads, but ontario is terrible. I'd recomment getting a good look at it from underneath on a hoist. 115K doesn't sound like much winter driving tho, so it might not be that bad. $6500 seems kinda on the high side, but there's always haggling, and it altimately is your call. Im sure there are other forum members from calgary, maybe someone could take a look at it with you and give you some imput.

thanks for your input. I have a good handle on the cost to repair it and it's about 2g's . The only thing that has me on the low side of the price map is the accident. I will be making an offer soon see what he says when the cash is under his nose.
