In need of '88 TII stock clutch brand new..?

I tried Mazdatrix, but I can't find a kit. I need to get a new clutch in my car, but everything people want to put in it isn't stock, and is "better than normal" but they want to charge 650-750 for everything. I figure I'd just buy the stock clutch *which is, what, 200ish bucks perhaps?* and then ask someone to install it.

I don't know, what do you guys think?

Can you stand by that? I'm hoping to hit 250 hp max...will the stock clutch live, or will I need to get another one?

the stock clutch will hold at least 220-230rwhp, which is what most 2nd gens do with full exhaust and supporting mods. i've seen it do so.

Could you link me to a good one to use by chance? I don't see one for 120, but price isn't MUCH of a problem with me at the moment. I don't see "exedy" in there anywhere, so it kind of bothers me. I don't know much of anything about clutches, so I don't want to buy one that won't work or something. I just like to be sure

This the one you need for your car http://www.capclutch.com/rx713l86tur9.html, mine was an S5 non turbo so was a little cheaper. It doesn't say exedy but that is what they will send you. It is they same part number that is on exedy web site http://www.exedyusa.com/oe/Exedy_OEM...ent_Clutch_kit. Hope that helps

I see. When I said I was going for decent priced, I meant 250-300 is still OK...I'm really not TOO strapped for cash..yet :p

I got an email from SpooledUpRacing, and he told me these...
This is the best bang for your buck. a high quality kit and not badly priced

S4 TII
Stage 1 330tq $275.00
Stage 2 380tq $315.00
Stage 2+ 400tq $345.00
Stage 3 425tq $325.00
Stage 3+ 505tq $440.00
Stage 4 435tq $320.00
Stage 5 598tq $360.00
He said the Stage 2 would be good for what I'm going for, and it seems like a good one for street use. What do you guys think?
