watch the corners while your driving, make sure it doesnt life at the corners at all. if so, i'd suggest pins.

I would either use pins or something to hold it down... you don't want to mess that thing up. CF hoods are not cheap, I am sure.

Pins aren't necessary if the hood isn't flimsy and has a latch. Hood pins originated for ultra lightweight fiberglass hoods that didn't have alot of structural support. Generally in racing. If you get them, just make sure they are real ones and not the typical ebay junk. If you're gonna look the part, you may as well play the part.

Rule of thumb: If your hood shakes or vibrates in the wind while driving, get hoodpins.

yeah, it all depends on how rigid the hood is. if its a pretty stable hood, not too flimsy, you'll prolly be alright.

and as 13b4me said dont buy cheapo ebay/autozone hood pins. those are something you dont wanna skimp out on

they have hoodpins that look pretty good on CF. a guy i know who has a 86 corolla has a really nice CF hood, and has good quality hood pins, that covered in CF, they look super clean on his hood!
