Near accident
So i just got back from driving home from washing my '87 GXL when a lady decides to turn left in her junker...right in front of me. I managed to stop and avoid hitting her, but i discovered 3 things in the process.
1) If you get the gut feeling that somebody is about to do something stupid, they probably are...slow down.
2) I may have locked all 4 wheels, not too sure on that, but i am sure that my rear is getting more braking power since my rear end was skewed to the left of the direction i had been heading. I need to change the brake fluid as part of the 60k mile tune up that i'm doing early (57k), but should there be something else i need to check out?
3) My horn isn't working, which i discovered as i was braking hard and after she waved at me as if "oh well, no harm done..."...so instead of the horn getting a work out, the single finger salute had to suffice. I seem to remember something listed in the FAQ, but i'm about to head back to work and won't have the chance to look it up until later tonight.
