NA vs Turbo Air filter

I have an NA, and i found a JDM front clip turbo with an unusual metal airfilter setup. can i use this on my NA?

How is anybody supposed to answer that question if you do not state the model of the "unusual" air filter, or at least post a picture? You also did not state the series of the RX-7's involved. Anyway, you can make anything fit if you have the time, skill, and/or money required. If the filter itself is a washable stainless steel mesh, keep in mind that these are the worst type of filters on the market, and they usually require application of a special adhesive after washing them.
