na > turboII question

this may sound like a stupid question, but is there any way to run a turboII engine with an NA ecu? i wont have my t2 ecu for a few days and i was gonna try to get my car to run and idle with my NA ecu just to make sure the motor is ok... anyone?

Yes but you've got to do some re-wiring. If you've got a T2 ECU on the way already, just save yourself the extra work and wait for the right ECU. Take the few days to double-check on things (everything tightened, fluids filled, alternator wiring done, etc).

Actually, you shoudl eb able to use it to get the engine to crank over, start and idle... It'll be looking for different inputs from the boost sensor and AFM, and timing differences. I would NOT drive it, but you might eb able to get it started so you can check for oil leaks and such. Just plug it in.
