NA and turbo II drivetrain differences: documentation and pictures
Still on the NA tranny for me, all is well. I paid too much for that RB aluminum flywheel and centerforce DF clutch to part with them
The clutch has no problem with 12-13 psi and the tranny feels great but I have never performed a launch, burnout or powershift on the tranny. I got an 87 parts car a couple years back and the car had a blown motor and was in overall very very very rough shape. Once we stripped it, we found a brand new looking (i.e. painted) tranny. We assumed it was a rebuild so we tossed it in (at the time my 3rd gear synchro was questionable). It's been in place since
Without the driveline shock of a pucked clutch and no drag racing, I'm sure the NA tranny will handle what I'm throwing at it.
