Are NA tranny's clutch release pilot bearings interchangeable w/t2s?

Yo,

My clutch wont disengage fully when the engine is on and I cant get into any gears while in neutral. It just started to happen after the engine swap, before the swap with the other motor it worked fine.I searched and everyone is saying its the pilot bearing clutch fork..I have a extra pilot bearing& clutch forkassembly from my NA tranny laying around, do you think its interchangeable with the turbo 2 trannys pilot bearing and clutch fork assembly?? My clutch and pressure plate is still okay...

opinnions???

Within each series:
S4 N/A and Turbo different
S5 N/A and Turbo the same
PB and seal the same for 86-91
Take a look at the Mazdatrix website for the different part numbers:
http://www.mazdatrix.com/fclutch.htm

Slave cylinder is also different between the N/A and Turbo

For the price and aggrevation of removing a pilot bearing, just buy a new bearing and seal.

i hope his s5 na tranny doesn't have a pilot bearing.

that bearing is in the end of the e-shaft.

I think he meant that he is swapping the throwout bearing.

yo, i just pulled the tranny out. It seems like the spring that holds the fork in popped loose thats why it wasnt letting me disengage!!!!
Idont need ti replace anything, I attacthed the fork backinto the ball with the spring and everything is good.. just gotta put it back in!!!!

thx guys

anybody know what this sensor is for??

I also caught another JPRs flaw again.. The tranny mount isnt event bolted into the tranny mount dampeners! Its a Na tranny mount on a t2 tranny, so its not even bolted onto the dampeners, just the middle of the trannys ball.....sigh...JPR motoring fails..

Na and TII trans mounts are the same. There is only a series difference.

yeah the mount they used was from my 87 na, and the t2 tranny is a 91 s5. So the mount is only holding the tranny by the center, the dampeners cant bolt into anything.
