so i have a 89 FC NA. It has a bad motor and tranny in it. I know the car was not the fastest thing in the world, but it is a joy to drive. Here are my plans. I would like some input:

1. Pull drivetrain (engine, tranny, driveline)
2. Paint entire car, including engine bay and undercarraige (stock 89 silver)
3. Motor Reinstall: This is where i need help. I liked it NA. Reliability was good and it had decent power. Plus it could take cheaper gas. But a turbo II engine would be cool. My thoughts are either a JDM TII or an Atkins Streetported NA with carb setup.
4. rebuilt tranny(unless doing a turbo setup) with the GTU 4.30 rear end.
5. Bone stock interior.


My goal is to have a show worthy (stock looking) car. I want it to look perfect. Not flashy...or gaudy....or crappy. It must be showroom. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
