If you use a non turbo EM harness it will work but there are some small adjustments you have to make to the harness.

If you install a turbo EM harness on the engine you still have to make wiring adjustments because there are plugs on the EM harness that mate with two plugs from the Front harness and the wiring pinouts are not the same at those two plugs b/t turbo and non turbo EM harness. So you would have to make wiring adjustments at those two plugs if you used a Turbo EM harness. Plus the Turbo EM harness does not have the two alternator wires running turu the EM harness so you'd have to run two new wires for the alternator.

The non turbo EM harness is a lot closer to plug and play and easier to deal with. It's just a matter of lengthening the BAC plug to reach to the other side of the engine and adjusting a couple of other wires.

If you use a JDM harness its probably messier since it's a right hand drive harness and also has no wiper/cruise control wires in it.

You know something? I think this has been covered before on this forum. There's a Search funciton at the top of the page. I'm not sure what you should enter in the blocks for the search. Have a go at it.

OR go to the Factory Service Manual. Go to the FUEL section. Now in that section there is a LIST of what each wire does on the ECU. It has those pages for TURBO and NON TURBO. Now hold each list up agains the other and compare the functions of each wire. You'll find only two significant differences. You need to address those two wires.

Use the non turbo harness.
