I'm talking about the cyclindrical do dad on the passenger side of the intake manifold that has two coolant lines and a connector going to it. I thought it was called the Bypass Air Valve.

I don't see why it won't work. Should. The only drawback is if it does not have an adjustment screw on it. That screw on a USA version is used like the screw on top of a non turbo's dynamich chamber.........to adjust the idle air.
But that N374 should perform like a USA BAC .........maintains a idle when a LOAD is put on the engine at idle. Other than that, that's all a BAC does. Personally I'd miss the idle screw on the BAC on my TurboII.
