n318 boost pressure sensor in s5

has anyone on here tried or heard of this? while searching for the n370 i came across a thread on nopistons.com where a guy said to give the 4th wire 12 volt power and the n318 would be usable on an s5. if not i'll be guinea pigging the idea in a couple of weeks and see if its any difference between that mod and using the n370, seeing as i see the n318 all day long and currently own that sensor maybe it would help some s5 turbo swaps out.

When I did my 6 port turbo on my S4 I used a n370 boost sensor and it didn't work. I don't know if you could change the wiring but it's worth a shot.

You can use it, but it is calibrated differently. Just like you can use an NA sensor, but it is calibrated differently.

So if you use the wrong one, the computer always receives inaccurate data. Under idle, cruise, and light boost, this would not be an issue.
