N1 silencer

Here's the deal. I have an 88 TII. My exhaust current set up is 2.5" downpipe, bonez race pipe, custom catback using a Borla XR-1 straight through muffler.

The car is loud as hell. I will be putting my high flow cat back on soon (too much boost-not enough fuel).

If I put the cat on the car again and put an Apexi N1 (with the silecer in place) in place of the Borla XR-1, would the car get alot quieter at idle and cruising speeds?

anyone have specs on decibles?

I am just tired of setting off car alarms and pissing cops off, but I love a good throaty sound at WOT.

wow
i have the n1 and the silencer
my set up is bonez straight pipe to the n1 single, when i put that silencer on it lowers the loudness level A LOT i mean like very comfterble cruising sound i have an N/A too so itll prob be even quiter on yours
Just as a side note i never use my silencer anymore cuz i loose power and its too quiet, i like it real loud

I haven't run the N1 with a cat, but the silencer REALLY works - even without a cat. Pop it in and it takes ALL the bite and drone out of the sound. The 3000 RPM highway drone is totally gone with it in too.

Go for it!

I don't have my silencer in enough to know the difference, we NA's need that extra power
It probably doesn't help that I have a leak somewhere before the cat, but she is loud. The silencer does lower it a little from what I've found, maybe with a true N1 it'll do more.
