n/a to TurboII Blow Through Weber Intake System good idea?

I know you're all ready to say "shut up with the n/a to turbo threads, read the post its," but I just wanted to know if it's a good idea. Yes, I know it's better to start with a turbo car, but I can't find any near me. This kit seems to do what I want, without making me get another car (though I'm sure there are drawbacks, which I hope someone will tell me).

Here's a quick run down with what the kit includes:

j-spec 91 turbo block
j-spec 91 tranny
webber intake system
turbo hat
blow thru fuel system
race clutch

The kit costs roughly 3k and claiming hp will be at about 250.

So is this something that might be worth while if I want to go turbo but keep my precious car and not have to chase around for a turbo second gen?

Thanks in advance

No. There is another thread on the forum about someone wanting to convert a TII FI setup to carb and everyone seemed against it. Search for it.

Well it will make more power (obviously), however you need a mech\tuner that knows his ****. I've seen this setup and IT WORKS, however stay NA, invest in a halltech, and NOS and you will be pushing 250hp or even more and the rear wheel!
