N/A Turbo and Timing BOX ?
N/A Turbo and Timing BOX ?
Curious= Bambam7 says when he retards his timing with his turbo N/A he loses low-end. To prevent that you need either tubro ECU , Stand alone or retard box.
My ? is with a retard box I can set the stock timing really high like as if it were n/a for about 2000rpms until boost kicks in then retard it from their right?
Another ? is can I do this on my N/A before I do this conversion to make power? Like just go and advance my timing and just retard it up top like a stand alone would? And whats the turbo map thing? How much do these timing boxes cost?

Most aftermarket timing boxes are boost referenced, or have a set retard/advance setting. It's difficult to make one RPM dependant. For advanced timing, you really need a standalone system.
