N/A turbo spacer... and manifold porting

Just thought I'd throw in a pic of my turbo spacer (excuse the paint/rust/oil- It's a few months old) that's required for the N/A -> TII conversion. Just for records.
ALso, if you've ever seen the shape of the exhaust ports on the manifold, they are a strange elliptical shape. Well, since I have custom, round high flow exhaust port sleeves, and also the round tubes on the spacer... The ports were really mismatched. The right hand pic shows the exhausts manifold ports. This took about 1.5 hours of porting to get the ports round and even with the manifold spacer (which is in turn matched to the engine exhaust ports of course!!).
I did the exhaust runners too, I made the equal size, and also ported a nice big bowl into that flat spot beside the small one- I also smoothed the divider between the runners.. There isn't a flat surface on that peice anymore!! Sorry, no pics, but that took a lot of work. The flow must be have been horrible through there!
Here's a pic of the runners from Ted's page... but I went even further to the left- getting rid off all the flat area- just watch for casting thickness!

I also went to town (again) on the wastegate too.. it's overported just slightly. Should be good.
I can't wait to get all this back together!! This weekend it will be running! With the addition of all this crazy porting/matching, a Walbro, a manual boost controller (about 10 lbs...) and street ported 4 port turbo housings.. man.. can't wait!!
The only thing I have left to do is to port match the 6 port intake manifold to the block- but I'm getting the gasket tomorrow to match it with. I'lll take pics too if anyone is interested. It's going to take some grinding, as well as some filling.

Hmm...that's cool. I guess you basically took the same approach as Aaron Cake?

Sortof.... except I have an S5, so I have the VDI manifold, FMIC, tubo 4 port housings, a street port, and my car's faster. heheh

BTW- some people say you can use this turbo spacer and not run into any interference with the frame rail. That's flipping impossible. Technically, no part of the turbo manifold hits, but the wastaget actuator needs a releif cut out of the frame rail. No big deal- 5 minutes with an angle grinder and cutting wheel solved that.
