Well I know that the turbo has 4 ports and the nonturbo has 6, but you probably already knew that.

Good luck getting it to fit without a completely custom exhaust manifold (or intakes for that matter), but if you don't know basics about the engine, chances are you really shouldn't be bolting a turbo to it.

Turbos have a lower compression ratio, and for a good reason!!!

I'd say learn a bit more about what you're doing before you do it.

Do you know how to tell the difference between the manifolds? And no, they pretty clearly said the rotors are NOT the same.

the 4 ports are just on the intake side, internally the rotors have different compression ratios. If you want turbos then buy yourself a turbo engine and swap it.... like i did.....

The rotors have a different compression ratio.

So the engine has a Turbo II manifold? Or are you getting runners confused with ports?

If you put a turbo on an NA motor without any fuel mods or any way to tune it, it will go BOOM

Their are only 4 runners on the upper part, and it's hard to tell unless you've seen both engines, but chances are if it doesn't have a turbo it's a 6port, which means that a T4 turbo/manifold won't work unless the manifold is specifically designed to clear the N/A manifold (and 1Revvin7 is the only person I know of making them at the moment)

Nope... NAs (6 port) run best on lower octane.

Well, I think we established that it's probably a better idea for you to research and spend more time with the car how it is rather than trying to turbo it...

Where are the mods? This thread should be locked already as this topic has been covered so many times it's in the FAQ...

Who cares, we get to inflate our post counts at the expense of n00bs, and this IS the 2nd gen section, it takes a good 3+ pages of useless postwhoring before a thread is noticed
