n/a tranny turbo engine

ok i was flirting with the idea of doing a turbo swap and i was told you can mate a n/a tranny with a t2 engine. but how come here about people with n/a tranny's holding 400 hp. How are they accomplishing this is what i wanna know if the two aren't compatible. especially since i've never heard of a n/a engine putting out 400 hp

You will need to use the N/A flywheel/starter and the tranny will bolt right up. A few people have done this, or running turbo'd/supercharged N/A engines with the original N/A tranny, with some success. While it may be possible, the fact is that the T2 tranny is just so much stronger, that I personally would want it with a higher power level.

so technically if i don't have the money right now for a complete t2 swap i can just buy a t2 engine and it could bolt right up and it would hold up as long as i don't beat the **** out of it??? of course i would have the wiring harness and ecu
