I've never seen a STOCK 93+z28 run 13's....they ran 14's till the LS1 came out in 98. It only has 20hp more than a stock FD and about 800 pounds of extra fat to pull around. I've never had a problem running a LT1 z28.
I cant confirm that it runs a 89G however if this is the case all I can say is that its sad....a 3rd Gen pulls .98 - 1.1 depending on who tested it. I've never had a problem with my 3rd Gen, the unreliable one are due to the original owners not knowing how to treat them.
I have a friend with a 7year old z-28 and your right, it is reliable....oh wait that because he's replaced everything on it in the last year or so.
As for the TII comparison, well lets just see how it would stack up to a $2-3K TII with $8-9K left to buy mods....yea right there is no comparison.
From where I'm looking, I'd rather have a 3rd Gen or a TII over a 95 z28 any day!!!!

"Out handle" a Camaro?  You're kidding, right?  Where did you get .89g?  A quick check to Car&Driver shows only a .84g skidpad.  Do you know these skidpad numbers aren't worth SQUAT in terms of real-world handling?  You're claiming a two-ton Detroit piece of crap is going to out-handle a sub 3,000 pound FD?  Boy, give me some of that you're smoking!
I got into a race with one of these Z28's, and he was barely able to pull on me through the straights on a freeway race.  *oops boost controller was OFF*  When it got to turns, the Z28 driver knew his limits, and we went right around him like he was standing still.  Don't even think a Camaro would have a decent suspension or even compare it to an FD or an FC.
Yes, you do sound stupid.
