Question n/a starter the same as a t2 starter

i have a 86 n/a and i need to know if a starter from my 5speed will fit in a t2 fivespeed? if you know please pm me and let me know. your help is greatly appreciated.

NO If you have an N/a auto it will *work* with a TII tranny but isn't a TII starter.

so a t2 5speed can only have a t2 starter for a 5speed or a n/a auto starter will work too.
