N/A springs/strut braces on Turbo?
Hi,
i'm looking to buy some aftermarket springs for my 87 TII. and i've narrowed it down to Tein or Tanabe. I did some searching and found out that they will both fit, but the tein says for N/A only, but i'm asuming because the springrate in the front is softer. I like that the Teins only drop about 1" vs the tanabe 1.5" drop because i plan to run 18" wheels and its my summer DD mostly. Some stuff has been taken out of the engine bay so obviously its lighter (removed: All A/C, Battery relocated, no P/S factory, emitions/rats nest), so would the teins be ok for my lighter front end car or not. I would also like to hear if you are running the tein springs on a vert, GXL, or Turbo and what you think of it.
I would like to get a set of strut braces, but the ebay knock off say N/A only? is that for clearance issues or are the spring perches not the same?
Thank you.

I don't see why aftermarket springs would be any different for turbo and NA models...its the same chassis, same suspension. You could just ask them what the spring rate is...it will still be far stiffer than stock springs that have sagged.
