N/A headers....
LOL you guys crackin me up. Here's MT's #(310.836.4106) so you all can tear him up. For some reason, you guys don't read the rest of the story like when I said how his single header system for $500 bucks match up to Mazdatrix true dual for $1400. What does that tell you, folks? He designed a system that works just as well but cost about $900 cheaper. So what he's saying about leaning may have some merits to it, I sure didn't wanna take that chance.
Anyone sellin any used header's i'll be gald to take them off your hands
.... and aprox how much horse power would they add to my 87 NA REX... it has intake, no cats, hi flow mufflers.... thanks

Single becuase its easier. I ended up selling my true dual heads because thier were to difficult. A single i can put on myself. And as far as catback.. Single because u wont regret it and I have a single and I wish it was louder. I have streight pipe after stock manifold to a muffler and my friends miata is louder with his JR cat back and high flow cat...
It's not only easier with a single but the catback should also last a lot longer compared to a stock dual catback setup. I've heard from another forum member and this happened to my exhaust when I bought my car, which the restrictive exhaust didn't allow enough hot exhaust gases to reach the mufflers. That allowed water vapor to condense inside the mufflers and over time they rusted and fell apart.
Now I don't know if the same thing is going to happen with a high flow exhaust system. I would think that since it isn't as restrictive the gases should remain hot all the way through. Maybe someone else has tried a high flow dual muffler set up and can verify that they don't rust over time from not enough heat.
I also don't think you need to go with a true dual exhaust.
