N/A Fuel cut????

This is what has happened to me 3 times already. I need help figurign out what it is.

Tonight I went for a ride in my car. I let it warm up by driving slow and low rpms. Well after a few mins the car was a t normal temp. Once I get on the mai road, I step on it, redline first throw it on second, then I get lauched forward and the car had NO power.

I release the gas and take it out of gear, rev the engine make sure it still revs. I put it Back in first, redline shif, and I get lauched forward again.

I was like W T F ! ! !

so I take anotehr turn and try it again, redline 1st, throw it in 2nd and this time I get the satisfaction of gettign thrown BACK like normal.

I tried it a few times more and it never happen again.

Any one have ANY clue as to what this is.

My spark plugs are NEW (30 mins old) and I jsut installed Magnacors R-100 yesterday.

BTW the first time it happened it was a month ago before I changed the plugs and wires, so I ruled that out.

Has this happened to any of you N/A guys??

Can't say that I have. I usually chirp or spin the wheels depending on road conditions when I shift into second.

My 90 has a rev-limiter that steps in at 8650rpms or so. Atleast thats what my s-afc tells me. Its only seems to work in gear though. At the track i missed a gear big time, and it went to 8,900. O-well. CJ
