N/A Bridgeporting, Carbed or EFI?

ok, heres the deal, Ive got an S5 GXL with a castrated body, and a $100 87'Toyota Corolla SR5. Im putting the S5 engine into the Toyota but im still trying to figure out the induction details... Im warring out Bridgeported options...

The orignal plan was to use a weber carb to do it, but its going to cost alittle bit and im not sure itll give me what I want. Not to mention itll cost me roughly $600 or more for the setup aswell. the good thing about it is that its almost plug and play, and little wireing, the cons are that yes, its tuneable but limited as the size of my powerband and fuel economy, that and im a carb noob.

The Idea ive been beating around was possiably using the Stock Intake and ECM and keeping the Stock EFI on the engine. Is it possable to make the stock intake work with a piggyback? or Megasquirt?(also im stupid about standalones, so some basic info about them would be nice) What would it take to fab an Intake for "optimal" performance from the bridge? The good thing about EFI would be a much larger, controlable powerband and (slightly) better fuel econmy, the con is that im an EFI noob and id have to wire everything. also better general control of the engine as far as optimising power.

Im just so confused, can someone help me fill the gaps and come to a workable solution? What will get me the best for the money? the goal is atleast 200rwhp. Will a bridge get me there? and are they REALLY less reliable? Might a streetport be abetter choice? and if I did get a LARGE streetport, Should I do to maximize the power?

thanks, hopfully this will help anyone looking to port and give them a good solid anwser and help them plan how to do it.
