Mystery plugs

Mystery plugs

The car is running fine just dont really know what these plugs are for. They have been off since i bought the car.

There are plugs like that all over the engine bay. They are diagnostic connectors.

yup if I'm not mistaken all the green ones are for diagnostic purposes

The top green plug in your pic is the initial set plug. (you jump that when ever you are going to change the idle, A/F screw, or timing) The bottom plug in your pic is the ECU diagnostic code checker. If a component in your engine fails the ECU creates a code and you read what that code is out of that plug. You can read more about the checking codes all over the place. Many people have their ways of getting info out of that plug
