What does it say? IES? Might give someone a clue if that stands for a company name.

 

Im guessing so it didnt look like a L

 

I believe, it's an after market EPROM program chip piggy backed on possibly the original EPROM for changing the strategy running the engine control system. Brand ? I have no clue.

I am curious, is this a Japanese N374 ECU? What's the outside label say?
