mysterious sticker remnants

Ok maybe not mysterious but while I was washing the 7 I noticed this ring of old adhesive where a sticker used to be. Possible GTUs sticker? Could I possibly have a GTUs? any thoughts on what went there. Or did every fc come with a sticker there when they came off the boat?

Not sure if they were still putting import car of the year stickers on in 1991, or it could be a random decal. GTUs decals were not on the glass

my GXL has one in that EXACT spot, hell if I remember what it says, but yes, its from the factory.

I'll snap a picture when g/f gets back with it from work, but if someone beats me to it, all well

I think it's a Mary Kay "Top Salesperson" award.

My aunt had one looked just about that size.

That is the outline for the glasscutter so James Bond can break in and steal the diamonds, then run off with Octopussy.

actually... I have this sticker I believe on my all original GXL. I will check when I get home and report. It has been over 2 weeks since the car cover has been off and I can not recall.

EDIT:

ignore the pony tank in the back, I certainly have the sticker, I will grab a good shot after work and post up.

I just took a picture of this one off the back of my 90 TII. It is situated in a slightly different spot though.

Yep I think it is the IMSA/GTU championship sticker. My '89 has one that looks like this guys in the same spot as in your picture. Sorry no GTUs's were made in '91. '89 and '90 only.
