mysterious plugs

yeah so for a quick update, took the rx7 out drove around till it got to running temp then started feeding it a lil more gas. It was freaking amazing, no hesitation no vapor locking just hard reving heart pumping action. I figured it to be a one time deal so i tried launching it, was spinning the hell out of first and a good 5 feet into second. I couldnt believe it. So i figured i would cruise around some more. 10 minutes later i launched again and it was still screaming. Then back to normal cruise, 5 minutes down the road and it cut the fuel out again. It lifted me up just to slam me down again. I just don't understand. So apon inspection under the hood im noticing little plugs that are not plugged in to anything. Yet do not plug into each other. So tomorrow ill take pics and try to post them and maybe someone can tell me what they are or possibly where they go. Also the fuel dampener thing... where do i get one and how hard is it to put on?

Shane...

yah pics or a better description will be better towards helping you.

As for replacing the PD, you got 3 options: go buy a new one from a Mazda dealer or go to a wrecking yard and see if you can find one in good nonleaking shape or just replace the PD with a banjo bolt and never have to worry it again.

1. There are a ton of diagnostic and unused electrical plugs under the hood.
2. More details on the circumstances of the fuel cut.
3. The archives has a huge thread on the Fuel Pulsation Damper and the Banjo Bolt Mod.
