Mysterious Death of the Blower??
Hey Everyone,
My blower has died on me and I don't know where to start playing with it. It worked perfectly until I recently added in a new afermarket alarm system and installed power door locks.
After I finished installing the alarm, it worked fine and would come on when the car is started with auto start and so forth, then like 3 days later it just crapped out and died.
I do hear a clicking noise when I move the fan switch to the on position. The noise is either coming from a fuse or a relay, I could not tell you exactly what it is really called but its a big head that a wire harness runs into, there are two of them. After removing the first fuse/relay and trying again, another noise comes from the secong fuse/relay only when the fan switch is pushed all the way to the max setting.
Now I have not started dismanteling anything yet due to the cold weather in NY. I am off from work the last week in this month and I would like to definately get it up and running by then.
Think that I am going to need to shop around for another blower assembly or could it be a fuse or relay or something else that I am not familiar with and overlooking?
Anyone with feedback would be greatly appreciated.
