My two rx7s aren't the same

My 86 n/a does not pull as hard or wind out as fastas my 88n/a.
Both hvae the exact same mods. lass the clutch on the 88. the 86 even has less miles on the build up. so why is the 86 weaker and get less MPG.

They're the same car for all insensive purposes. You must have a compression issue with the '86, or hopefully something less terminal. Could be something minor. Also the trim level may have something to do with it (weight etc.). GXL's are heavier.

the 86 is accually lighter. It doen't have the sunroof, or and aftermarket stero with 2 subs and 3 amps. It also has an LSD, the 88 has an open diff.
the 86 also has advance timing over the 88, which is stock timing.

bother are wired open. they don't seem to work well with the header/ presilencer setup. they both worked fine before that mod. then the quit.
