My transmissions squeeling... I think

When my car warms up and Im driving it around, I hear a squeeling when Im in nuetral. Sorta like how a fan belt would sound. Then, when I throw my car into gear the noise goes away. Once I get back into nuetral though, the squeel builds up again. If Ive got the clutch pedal pushed in its not there, but leaving it in idle with the pedal out causes it to come back.

My clutch doesnt slip and Im noticing anything wrong other than that noise. Could my transmission possibly be wearing off to the point of needing a rebuild soon or is this something different all together?

That's pretty much exactly what mine is doing, except with one added noise, a squeeling when the clutch grips sometimes, mostly when going uphill.

But the fan belt sort of whirring is exactly the same, clutch not slipping, noise in neutral loudest, put clutch in disappears, in gear there's no noise, or very slight.

Should I worry about this happening? Does it mean Ill have to get a rebuild pretty soon or am I safe for a while?

i think that you can just dropp the tranny and replace all of those and while your inthere you might as well replace the clutch too.
