About 5 months ago i bought a semi running TII for 1400. The car had dents and scratches. The gray interior was moldy and stunk. The car ran very bad. The guy before me mixed up quite a few of the vacuum lines and the turbo would glow red after a short period of time. I replaced the interior with black carpeting and I bought a set of silicone hoses and went through and replaced every one i could reach. Then I took of the cats to check the turbo. Luckily for me the turbo has little to no shaft play but when I put the front cat on the ground. pieces of it fell out. so that solved the problem of the turbo glowing. Today i installed my turbo back exhaust for RB. Talk about a well made piece of equipment. It took about 2 hours but i got it put on and fired the car up. Had to do a little throttle adjusting but i got it running. for a car that hasnt run much in the last year it starts right up. Ill post some pics up here tonight to show my progress. So far I have spent $2800 but well worth it.
